A small town romance story with loads of action and suspense. Hazel needs help when her boss ends up dead and leaves her something that causes her to run. When she seek out Corbin for help, she didn’t expect him to turn her down. What happens next was a suspenseful romance story with an entertaining storyline. I enjoyed how the characters end up falling for each other and finding their HEA. This was an enjoyable addition to the series and I can’t wait for more especially with that ending.

've read a lot of books written by Megan Matthews; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the fourth book in the Pelican Bay Billionaires Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Hazel & Corbin trying to prove her innocence after her boss turns up dead but it also bring the Chicago mob to the east coast looking for her.
