Lady Rosella Prescott loves Lucian Abbot, the Marquess of Kistleton and has done for as long as she can remember. But he and her have a history of bickering and arguing. He treats her like a painful little sister. She tries to capture his attention but nothing ever changes. If only he would look at her and not see a hellion. Lucian Abbot secretly desires Rosella but she is the sister of his closest friend. She should be out of bounds. Until feelings cant be denied!

This is a beautifully written Christmas time, with friends to lovers romance. The characters were interesting and likable. I enjoyed the delightful and entertaining way a family got together for Christmas leads to more than just friendship, but true love. The ending was very lovely. I highly recommend reading!

Very short and very sweet. Two families alternate spending Christmas with each other. The daughter of one family is in love with the son of the other. A wish upon a shooting star is hope for the future. A kiss under the mistletoe may be the last chance. Mild descriptive sex. I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this novella from Booksprout.
