About this ebook

When a group of teens with extraordinary abilities reunites, a sinister organization threatens to exploit their powers.

It's been over a year since fourteen-year-old Eddie "Trash" Thalmeyer and his friends from Edgeview Alternative School discovered their unique hidden talents. Trash can move things with his mind, Torchie is a fire-starter, Cheater reads minds, Lucky finds lost objects, Flinch can predict the future, and Martin can see into people's souls. Now back home with their families, the boys are eager to return to their normal lives, start high school, and stay connected with their Edgeview friends.

But when Trash accidentally steals cash while testing his power in a bank, he is abducted by the merciless leader of a covert organization bent on collecting data on psychic phenomena—at any cost. Torchie, Cheater, Lucky, Flinch, and Martin must band together, using their true talents, to save their friend from the shadowy group's clutches.

In this thrilling sequel to Hidden Talents, David Lubar blends humor, suspense, and the supernatural as a group of teenage friends harness their unique abilities in the face of danger.

When I was young, I read this story so many times, the spine of the book began to fall apart. This eBook won’t have that problem! Also, I never realized it was “Book #2” of a series. Going to solve that with another eBook, too!
