I highly recommend this book for those that wish to make next-level hamburgers. Design-wise, I found it visually appealing, well organized and easy to read. You'll enjoy it more if you have a kitchen scale. It's origin being a Paris restaurant means ingredients are listed metric first, with somewhat inconsistent / odd Imperial translations (dry oz measurements for things you expect to be in spoons and cups). Set the scale to metric for the day for full smooth sailing. I really appreciate the thought that clearly went in to the flavor profiles of each recipe. I find them valuable as written, and as inspiration for my own variations. The hamburger bun recipe is fantastic - I haven't bought buns since reading this book.

David Japy is an accomplished food photogrpaher, Elodie Rambaud is a much sought-after food styist and Victor Garnier is the founder of the Blend chain of chic burger bars in paris. They had a very good time making this book.
