About this ebook

True Blue is a gripping ride, full of pace, action and tension from David Baldacci, one of the world’s favourite storytellers.

Mace Perry was a maverick cop on the DC police force who lost everything when she was framed for a crime she didn’t commit. She spent two years in prison and now she’s trying to rebuild her life. But first she’s determined to hunt down the people who set her up. Even with her police chief sister by her side, she needs to work in the shadows. There are those with power out there just looking for a reason to put her back behind bars and she needs to find the reason why.

A female partner at a city law firm is found murdered and it seems her fate is entangled with Mace’s story. As the investigation deepens, Mace finds herself drawn into both the public and private world of the nation’s capital as dark secrets begin to emerge. If she’s to prove her innocence, she will need all her skills to reveal the truth, confront her enemies and regain her life.

True to form, Baldacci has produced another breathtaking bestseller. Good character development, a coherent and gripping plot with twists and turns galore. However. Do not read it in this edition. There are no apostrophes, so She'd becomes Shed; He'd becomes Hed; difficult to read, and in some instances plot ruining because it takes a second glance to work out what is being said. The book would be hard to put down. This edition would be thrown into the bin long before it was read if it were ever published in hard copy. Google, take note. You are rapidly descending to the bottom of the list of credible publishers.

A very easy read. The usual twists and turns make it a hard to put down book. It didn't lack anywhere but it just didn't sparkle for me. Looking forward to the next one though.

Not up to Baldacci's usual high standard. Very poor in fact.
