B. K. Tripathy a Senior Professor in the School of Computing Sciences and Engineering, VIT University, at Vellore, India. He has published more than 190 technical papers in various international journals, conferences, and book chapters and has guided 14 scholars for their Ph.D degrees in both mathematics and computer science. He is associated with many professional bodies like IEEE, ACEEE, ACM, IRSS, AISTC, ISTP, CSI, AMS, and IMS. His research interest includes fuzzy sets and systems, rough sets and knowledge engineering, data clustering, soft computing, granular computing, theory of multisets, list theory, content based learning, remote laboratories and social networks.
Atta ur Rahman is currently working with University of Dammam, Dammam, Saudi Arabia as Assistant Professor. Before that he was with Barani Institute of Information Technology (BIIT), Rawalpindi, Pakistan, as Associate Professor & Deputy Director (R&D). Dr. Atta has completed his BS degree in Computer Science from University of The Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan; MS degree in Electronic Engineering from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan and PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from ISRA University, Islamabad Campus, Pakistan in years 2004, 2008 and 2012, respectively. He has been actively involved in research and development during last decade or so.
