Absolutely haunting. The story starts out fairly light-hearted, until you get to chapter 9 or so. The graphic details of the SeaWing massacre are vividly described, and if you're squeamish you might want to skip Chapter 29 and simply look up what happens instead. Darkstalker spiraling from wanting what's best for his loved ones to planning a genocide. The way he murders his father and acts like it was no big deal shows how twisted he has become. The transformation is so smooth that you can't tell when the switch is flipped. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Definitely not for anyone under 10.

It was good all of it but Darkstalkers dad being forced to cut off his tongue and disembowel himself is a little extreme but definitely fits the "evil" in him. It has everything too action, suspense, mystery, and a touch of romance!

loved it so much I have all the wings of fire books and it feels nice to just have your phone then all the books and this one just fits my weird and quirky style I just love it so much please just read it before you judge it. though I don't like how Darkstalker controls his dad so ya just love your dad while you can.
