व्यवसाय - मुंबई येथील देना बँकेच्या स्टाफ ट्रेनिंग कॉलेजचे प्रिन्सिपॉल म्हणून निवृत्त. त्यांनी लहान वयात १९५४पासून लेखनास सुरूवात केली व अजून साहित्यसर्जन चालू आहे. आत्तापर्यंत त्यांची १४७ पुस्तके प्रकाशित झाली आहेत. रामायण, महाभारत, वेद, उपनिषदे या महान ग्रंथांचा सखोल अभ्यास करून त्यावर आधुनिक संदर्भात त्यांनी ग्रंथ लिहिले आहेत. याखेरीज ज्या व्यक्तींच्या कार्यामुळे भारतात व संपूर्ण जगातही महत्त्वाचे बदल घडून आले, त्यांच्या चरित्रांचा अभ्यास करून त्यांवर त्यांनी कादंबऱ्या लिहिल्या आहेत. अशा कादंबऱ्यामध्ये महात्मा गांधी व त्यांचे ज्येष्ठ पुत्र हरिलाल गांधी, महमदअली जीना, रवीन्द्रनाथ टागोर, गौतम बुद्ध यांच्या जीवनावरील कादंबऱ्याचा समावेश होतो. गांधीजी व हरिलाल यांच्या संबंधांवर लिहिलेल्या प्रकाशनो पडछायो या कादंबरीचा इंग्रजी नाट्यरूपाने झालेला अनुवाद न्यूयॉर्कमध्ये रिचर्ड अ‍ॅटनबरोंच्या गांधी, श्याम बेनेगलच्या मेकिंग ऑफ महात्मा बरोबर दाखवला गेला व तीनही लेखक–दिग्दर्शकांचा सन्मान केला गेला. त्यांच्या अनेक पुस्तकांचे हिंदी, मराठी, बंगाली, कानडी, तेलगू, मल्याळी, ओरिया व तामिळ तसेच इंग्रजी व जर्मन अनुवाद झाले आहेत. एकाच वेळी ११ पुस्तके सहा भाषांमध्ये प्रकाशित होण्याच्या विक्रमाबद्दल त्यांचा लिम्का बुक ऑफ रेकॉर्ड्समध्ये समावेश झाला आहे. गुजराती साहित्य परिषद, गुजरात राज्य साहित्य अकादमी इ. सारख्या अनेक साहित्यिक संस्थांकडून त्यांच्या अनेक पुस्तकांना पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत. त्यांच्या कादंबऱ्यावर चित्रपट निर्माण झाले आहेत. त्यांनी भांडारकर ओरिएन्टल इन्स्टिट्यूटच्या महाभारताच्या संशोधित मूळ लेखनाचे गुजराती अनुवादाचे संपादन करण्याचे कामही पार पाडले आहे. या ग्रंथाच्या एकूण वीस पुस्तकांचा संच प्रकाशित झाला आहे.,
