Drug delivery systems play a crucial role in modern medicine by facilitating the targeted delivery of therapeutic agents to specific sites in the body. The development of effective drug delivery systems has revolutionized the field of pharmacotherapy, offering solutions to enhance drug efficacy, improve patient compliance, and minimize adverse effects. As the understanding of disease mechanisms and drug interactions has advanced, so too has the demand for innovative drug delivery technologies. From traditional oral medications to sophisticated nanotechnology-based platforms, drug delivery systems continue to evolve, driven by the pursuit of safer, more effective treatments. In this comprehensive textbook on drug delivery systems, we explore the principles, mechanisms, and applications of various delivery modalities. Kameswara Rao Sankula Currently Working as Associate Professor in Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Atmakur(V), Mangalagiri (M), Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He had 12 Years of Academic Experience. He has Published 60 Research articles and Reviews articles in various International and National Journals.

He had 6 granted patents and 05 Indian-published patents. He has received 08 International and national pharma faculty awards. He had authorized 03 Books and 03 Book Chapters. He has received a PMKVY Grant worth 58 Lakhs from the central government of India (AICTE).

Dr. Samba Siva Rao Bodavula is Currently working as a Principal & professor at Khammam College of Pharmacy, Puttakota Village, Allipuram Post, Khammam Urban, Khammam District, Telangana state, India. He had 17 Years of Academic Experience. He has Published 25 Research articles and Reviews articles in various International and National Journals. He guided numerous M.Pharm and B.Pharm Students. He completed his M.Pharmacy in Quality Assurance from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, and his B. Pharmacyfrom RIPER, Ananthapur affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad, and Ph.D in Quality Assurance from Pacific University, Rajasthan.

Nagineni Sudarshan Rao Currently Working as an Associate Professor in Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Vishnupur, Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He had 10 Years of Academic Experience. He had Published 12 Research articles and Review articles in various International and National Journals. He had 02 UK design Patent and oz Indian Published Patents. He had Participated in 50Workshops/International/National Conferences/Webinars. He had Participated in 15 Faculty Development Programs. He had authorized 01(Progressive Pharmacology) Book Chapter. He guided numerous M.Pharm and B. Pharm Students

Dr. Rama Rao Vadapalli is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy (Autonomous), Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. He earned his Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He is a recognized postgraduate teacher. He has guided a number of graduate and postgraduate students and published several research papers in national and international journals. He has participated in several international and national conferences. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmacy Professionals & APTI.
