Acerca de este libro electrónico

The World Forest's last stand against the Dream Emperor's religion of exploitation depends on one magical child.

All Atlantis thinks it knows the story of the Maji's birth. But what if the traditional story of the holy one's gifts, childhood and days leading up to exile in Markland was a lie? What if there were witnesses, and their stories were rather different from the sacharine tales told every year?

Here in Testaments of the Maji, Consecration, for the first time the story is told by those that were there.

Here are the stories of the miracles surrounding his birth and his.idyllic childhood in the Ilfilands in the days leading up to their colonisation by Atlantis. But here too are the stories of the colonisers and the colonised, and the Ilfi's horrific secret of the power of their sorcery, and the true reason for the Maji's exile, so long suppressed by doctrine.

Testaments of the Maji is a fantasy exploring the realm of religious narratives. Set in Atlantis it may, however, prove all too familiar.

Acerca del autor

Aaron Redfox is an immortal of indigenous origin. Born in the time of Atlantis he, for a time, held the Etymon, the password to all sorcery and key to all knowledge but passed it on to Elijah Dancingstars to bring about the fall of the Empire. And if you believe that you will believe anything.

Peter King is writer living in New Zealand. He is interested in the power of traditional religious narratives to affect contemporary discourse and the impact of colonialism on indigenous peoples, plus the political shifting of narratives by ancient, modern and post-modern authors.
