 It was when Malayalam media had completed 150 years of its existence in 1998 that kerala Press Academy under the chairmanship of V P Ramachandran , undertook an evaluation of the changes undergone during the period. A series of seminars were conducted, in which very prominent journalists, editors and thinkers presented their views. This book is the half century from 1957 to 1997. This includes papers by prominent men like communist ideologue  E.M.Sankaran Nampudiripad, Malayala Manorama chief editor K.M.Mathew, prominent journalists T.Venugopal, Thomas Jacob etc. on subjects including content, technology, language grammar and advent of electronic media.

I get a quick access to all the news every day through this poetel. By spending a short period I get what I wanted to know about the happenings around me. It helps me to manage my time excellently.
