Derrick Taylor (born August 12, 1930 - November 26, 2011), known as Derrick, grandfather of Cometan, was the paternal grandfather of Cometan. Although Derrick is provided with the religious mononym of Pacosmeran in the Astronist tradition, he is not classified as a coportant figure.

Karen Elizabeth Warbrick (born September 17, 1966 – October 7, 1970), referred to by the title Karen, aunt of Cometan, was the only maternal aunt of Cometan who tragically passed away at the age of four. She was the daughter of Bill and Hilda Warbrick and the older sister of Louise Counsell, Cometan's mother.
"Richard" Kevin Cottam (born May 22, 1936), referred to as Kevin, great-uncle of Cometan in the context of Astronism, was the great-uncle of Cometan and the older brother of Hilda Warbrick. A plumber by trade, Kevin married Mary Cottam and had four children. He passed away in 2010 and is buried at St Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church in Longridge, Lancashire.
