As circular economy is gaining momentum and interest in general, the book serves as reading material for undergraduate and graduate students in any field specifically environmental science, waste management, medical science as well as environmental management at national and international level.

Prof. Sadhan Kumar Ghosh, PhD (Engg.), served as the Professor & Head in Mechanical Engineering & Chief Coordinator, Centre for Sustainable Development and Resource Efficiency Management and Dean, Faculty of Engg. & Technology at Jadavpur University, India and the Director, CBWE, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India. He served industries like Larsen & Toubro Ltd and The Gramophone Co. of India Ltd. He is a renowned personality in the field on Waste Management, Circular Economy, Green Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Development, Waste Co-processing in cement kiln, Plastics & E-waste management & recycling, management system standards (ISO) and TQM having three patents approved, received several awards in India and abroad including the distinguished visiting fellowship by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK. He wrote 10 books, 50 edited volumes, more than 240 national & international articles. He is the Editor-in-chief of the Journalof Solid Waste Technology and Management (JSWTM) and Associate Editor of IJMC&WM. He has research collaboration in 45 countries. He is consultant & international expert of UNCRD)/DESA, Asian Productivity Organization, China Productivity Council, SACEP Sri Lanka, IGES Japan, SINTEF Norway, etc. He is available at www.sadhankghosh.com.

Sannidhya Kumar Ghosh, graduated in civil engineering from Jadavpur University. Did his MS & PhD from Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, University of Colorado Boulder (UCB), USA. He served as the instructor and Post Doc. at UCB. His research areas include circular economy, Concrete & building design in high seismic region, Earthquake characteristics, impact of materials ageing during earthquake, Structural Dynamics, C&D waste management, etc. He carried out projects at Aston University, and Loveborough University UK under UKIERI Scheme funded by British Council, UK and at IIT, Kanpur under TEQIP, India funding respectively. He has a few publications and books. He is the governing council member of International Society of Waste Management, Air and Water (ISWMAW).
