About the author
Christopher Walsh has been an award-winning sportswriter since 1990 and currently covers the University of Alabama football program for The Tuscaloosa News. His recent honors include the First Amendment Award (formerly the Freedom of Information Award) from the Associated Press Managing Editors, two Pulitzer Prize nominations, the Herby Kirby Memorial Award (the Alabama Sports Writers Association's highest honor), and Enterprise Story of the Year from the Football Writers Association of America. Originally from Minnesota and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Walsh currently resides in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
