I wanted a book not a magazine with adverts which are no use to me as they are not relevant to where I live. The text was boring - plain fonts and no graphics. It maybe free but it doesn't have to be cheap looking or unprofessional disappointing

This appears to be a Canadian grocery chain's (Sobeys) promotional cookbook for Christmas. The e-book reminds me of old community cookbooks as it contains recipes submitted by individual home cooks. Regionally, these recipes seem to feature mostly Atlantic Canadian (Newfoundland/Labrador, specifically) cuisine. Yes, there are images of grocery advertisements from 2013 but I believe this adds to its charm. Love the price as well - free!

Sorry always find recipes with measurements of acup or 1/2 a cup difficult, what's wrong with good old pounds and ounces😬
