A great historical novel. I like the way the author makes you feel like you're there as the battles are happening. It is funny at times and sad in other parts. Couldn't put the book down. However there are a lot of tiny grammer mistakes. Other than the grammer, the story would be five stars.

About the author

I'm a civil war reenactor and educator of this era. I did eight years of research on my book. Part of my inspiration came from civil war soldiers making the ultimate sacrifice. The other came from my friends father, Mr. Hughes, an author whom passed away before completion. Eight years ago I promised myself I would finish what I started. Today, I have fulfilled that promise. Daniel Lango is my name and I'm 24 years old living with autism.
