This book changed my life. I bought the first version 20 years ago. If I hadn't... I'm sure I would be diabetic by now. There is a lot of misinformation about diabetes in our society today. And doctors are so ready to put you on medications instead of showing you how to manage each meal for a better outcome. It is not hard to do. But you need to have this information to understand the simple math of proteins, carbs and fats. It really is just a matter of understanding how to manage a 2 hour eating window to keep from ingesting an excess of carbohydrates.

I have been trying this for a week and have already lost 2 lbs. It's challenging to not just grab a piece of fruit and go, but is working so it is worth the effort. Recommend the read for information alone!
