About this ebook

Transform Your Garden into a Sustainable Tea Cupboard with Homegrown Tea

Homegrown Tea explains how to grow a large variety of plants in your own garden, on a balcony, or even on a windowsill to create your very own tea cupboard. It shows you how to grow your tea from seeds, cuttings, or small plants, as well as which parts of the plant are used to make tea. Liversidge provides guidance on when and how to harvest your plants, along with information on preparing the plant, including how to dry tea leaves to make tea you can store and enjoy throughout the year. As a guide to using tea for its nutritional and medicinal benefits, this book is a must-have for tea enthusiasts and gardeners alike. Finally, there is an illustrated, step-by-step guide on how to make fresh and dried teabags and how to serve a delicious homegrown tea. Homegrown Tea offers a sustainable way to enjoy a beverage steeped in history and tradition.

Sample drinks include well-known plants such as rose hips, mint, sage, hibiscus, and lavender, as well as more obscure ones like chicory, angelica, apple geranium, and lemon verbena. With its full-color photos and illustrations, Homegrown Tea is the perfect gift for tea lovers, crafters, and gardeners looking to bring the joy of homegrown tea into their lives, whether they have a sprawling garden or a simple windowsill.
