About the author

Carolina Machado is a professor and researcher in Human Resources Management at the University of Minho, where she leads the Human Resources Management Work Group at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science. She is also the Coordinator of Advanced Training Courses at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on strategic human resource management, organizational policies, and workforce development. Dr. Machado serves as Chief Editor of the International Journal of Applied Management Sciences and Engineering (IJAMSE) and is actively involved in editorial roles for books and academic journals.
