I am continuing to love the Hot Zone series! We get inside the crazy world of Micki and Damian in book two. Uncle Yank is still up to his old ways trying to make sure his family is taken care of, meanwhile he keeps pushing Lola away emotionally. I continued to want to bash Uncle Yank's head when it came to Lola. She has had enough and makes Yank have to finally face his emotions. I love to start a book series that have been out already so that I can dive into the next book. Hot Number has you laughing too. It's a sexy hot book with some twists mixed in. Micki is our favorite tomboy. Until now, she is ready for a make over. But little does she know its more for the inside than out. What I liked about Micki's story is that it stays true to the heart of things. . Damian is our new hot guy! He is a big player on and off the field. But finally he see's things in a new light. He starts to want more. Then before he knows it, his whole world comes crashing down. Will he turn to Micki for moral support? Or will he leave her like he has with every other woman he has had in his life. Read up on Hot Number and you will fall in love with this series as I have!

This is my favorite book in the hot zone series. Micki Jordan is the Tom boy who is tired of by just one of the boys and Damien Fuller is the center fielder that is near the end of his career that isn't ready it give up. But when they end up working together can they deny their chemistry and is there more than just a lost weekend. I loved this book because Carly Phillips brings great story of love and some quick funny lines also. Definitely read or reread this book.

Hot Number is the second book in Carly Phillips Hot Zone series and I was so excited to dive into this book as I loved the first installment of the series, Hot Stuff. Michelle "Micki" Jordan is the youngest of the Jordan sisters. Micki works at The Hot Zone as a publicist along side her sisters, Annabelle and Sophie, and of the three girls, she has always been the tomboy. And to be more specific, she's always been known as "one of the boys" and she's ready to shed that image and project a more feminine one especially now that she has her sights set on a certain baseball player. Damian Fuller is both a baseball player and a ladies man. He has no trouble finding women to spend time with him, but when he shares a kiss with Micki on New Year's Eve that is hotter than hot, that decision, the realization that his life might not be as full as he once thought and some help from fate, might just make him a one woman man. While Micki isn't sure that she is good enough for or in the same stratosphere with the ball player, Damien assures her that he's interested and once he sets some ground rules, Micki agrees and things heat up. Will these two hit a grand slam or will they strike out? Carly Phillips does a great job telling this story and as excited as I was about this one, I'm equally looking forward to the next in the series!
