I LOVE Patti Larsen's books!! The Whitewitch Island series is my favorite. This is fast becoming my second favorite. This story was especially good because it centered on Bruno, our heroine's beloved dog. We also have the first in-person intro to a new love interest. So on top of a good mystery, we have the beginning of a new relationship for Becks to deal with. This is a main reason I love Patti's writing. She gives her characters such reality. I know you'll enjoy this book & the whole series. I suggest you start at the beginning, for the most enjoyment, but you don't have to. Each book is a self - contained mystery, but it's always nice to get to know the characters from the beginning. I highly recommend this book, so read and enjoy.

This book was a pleasure to read. I loved it being written in the first person, with comments to me (the reader)as if I was there in the story.
