About this ebook

The Empire is crumbling and humanity is on its knees.

The petulant, self-aware Array has retaliated. It has destroyed a space station, home to a million people, and stranded Danny and her crew on the surface of the tidally locked Nijeliya II. They must scratch for survival as best they can.

While Danny works to save the city and her people, her fury over the Array’s murder of her friends and loved ones stews deep inside. She will have her revenge, no matter what the cost.

Only Nijeliya is a red star and notorious for throwing out superflares that can threaten the life of everything living thing. Time is running out, not just for Danny and her crew, but for everyone in the galaxy.

Destroyer of Worlds is the fifth and final book in the Imperial Hammer space opera science fiction series by award-winning SF author Cameron Cooper.

Praise for the Imperial Hammer series:

I love sci-fi and this story makes me love it even more.

I am in awe of the writing ability and imagination of Cameron Cooper.

Before reading any of this author's work, I would have stated I did not really like science fiction. THAT has changed.

It's full of action from beginning to end.

Brilliant and intricate.

Many memorable characters – but my favorite is Varg.

Twists and turns so you’re never really sure what is going on behind the scenes.

I am so enthralled with the series that I am impatient for the release of the next book.

Cameron somehow describes scenes in ways that make me feel like I am actually present

This story truly does justice to the legacies of the greats, like Orson Scott Card and Frank Herbert.

Edge of your seat action will keep you captivated until the final page!!

What an awesome book! An epic and satisfying finish to the series. An edge of the seat ride all the way through with tension abounding. After the drama and wrenching finish to book four this story picks up the thread and tells us what goes on in the aftermath. For a story that deals with life and death challenges and seemingly hopeless odds there was a fantastic balance of insights into characters' perseverance and incremental progress to keep the characters, and me as the reader, in a positive frame of mind. There was lots of political and 'spacer' drama going on but the real heart of the story for me was the rich and insightful portrayal of the relationships between characters. Every character personality was complex and interesting. This book, WOW! It moved me!! I gasped; I cried with sadness and I cried with delight! Not many books move me to tears despite the claims of others' reviews but this one delivered heartfelt emotions in spades! I left the series satisfied that there were no loose ends and feeling good about the characters and their future...whatever it may hold. I highly recommend this series and especially advocate reading all the books in order (including the short novella between, about Varg).

Wow, what an awesome Sci-Fi story. This fifth book in this series was amazing, I loved the science and gung-ho in the story. The attitude of all those affected by death and betrayal finally gets them all working towards the same goal; the heart and stamina to save everyone's lives and be free of the demented murderous Array and a dying planet. As the last of the survivors leave the dying planet our heroine, Danny was determined to do to the gate what her namesake, The Imperial Hammer, would do. BUT OMG after finding out what she learned at the end, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE SIXTH BOOK. Grab the book and if you didn't start from book one, well what the heck you waiting for. This is sci-fi at its best.

A face paced page turner. This author has mastered the character driven space opera without bogging us down in the science part. Filled with characters that feel real and who you can side with, there are tons of twists and turns. Plan to read in one sitting—you won’t want to stop until you’ve finished. I also highly recommend the entire series. It's been terrific and this is the final book where everything comes together.
