About this ebook

Luke Irontree was born in Belgium. If the vampires have their way, he’ll die there, too.

When an ally calls for aid, Luke and his werewolf friends must respond. Vampires are attacking his friend’s pack, and they suspect treachery from within. As soon as Luke and his crew land, the vampires strike, kidnapping his friend. Luke is forced to go underground, relying on the protections of an ancient god.

Now Luke and his team are on the run, eight people in a sea of enemies and allies with unknown loyalties. They have no idea who to trust. Hunted across multiple countries, Luke is left with nothing but desperate choices if he wants to make it out alive…

About the author

C. Thomas Lafollette is a student of history and a world traveler. He’s dined with a Prime Minister, read poetry with Yevgeny Yevtushenko, and drank beer with monks. He’s the author of the action-adventure urban fantasy series Luke Irontree & The Last Vampire War and the forthcoming Red City Reaper series. Besides reading and writing, he loves a good action movie, be it a Hollywood blockbuster or a classic Samurai flick, as well as the occasional rom-com. He lives in Portland with his partner – the devastatingly talented author Amy Cissell – his stepdaughter, and their two jerkface cats.
