The author writes about his rather strange love relationship with a young lady from the Isaan province. Despite the great difference in age, culture and religion, the two found quite few common interests and therefore sympathy was turning into real love. However, after two harmonious years, all of a sudden, the nice friendship was cut off and a very long time of silence took place. Missing his unique girlfriend, the author started searching in the far away Northeastern part of Thailand. But instead of meeting the wanted lady, he just met another former acquaintance with new problems!

Rolf Bahl ist Buchautor von Romanen welche hauptsächlich im südostasiatischen Raum spielen. Die meisten seiner Geschichten beruhen auf persönliche Erlebnisse während seiner Südostasienreisen. Heute lebt der 1938 in der Schweiz geborene Autor in Thailand.
