The Three Spinners (also known as The Seven Little Pork Rinds, Hateful Flax Spinning, And Seven!) is a well-known German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm. It has obvious parallels to Rumpelstiltskin and Frau Holle, and obvious differences, so that they are often compared.
This illustrated Russian avant-garde style book is Oksana Ighaschenko’s early work, created in early 1980’s and first published in 2018.

About the author
Illustrator and author of numerous of kids’ books, Oksana Ignaschenko, was born on Septemper 5, 1960 in Kiev. In 1984 she graduated from National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture. The member of the National Union of Artists and the participant of international exhibitions.
