A Doula to Die For is the first installment of the Redondo and Rose Neighbors in Crime mystery series written by Bonnie Hardy. I personally very much enjoyed this story! It was very well written, it flowed well smoothly, and didn't have a bunch of filler fluffing. It pretty much had what I'd expect from an exceptionally author. I highly recommend this book. I really enjoyed these two from the other books and seeing them with their own spinoff was a lot of fun. And hats off to any doulas because I couldn't do what you do. Viv and Rex and just a barrel of fun and i can't wait for more antics from them!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Phenomenal new series by Bonnie Hardy. Gripping and suspenseful plot, couldn’t put the book down. Rex and Rose solve the the murder with a little help from a friend in Lily Rock. The Old Hollywood vibe in this upscale desert setting makes me want to turn on a Sinatra song and dance. What an interesting backdrop for the new series. Plus the flirtation between two mature adults promises interesting capers ahead.

About the author

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Bonnie Hardy is a former teacher, choir director, and preacher. A lover of libraries and literacy, Bonnie directed a literacy center in her home town.

Bonnie has published in Christian Century, Presence: An International Journal for Spiritual Direction, and with Pilgrim Press. She's written numerous short stories some which can be found on her Facebook page.

When not planting flowers and baking cookies, she's sitting at her computer plotting her next cozy mystery.
