Single mom Willow Branson from Texas looks forward to her first winter in Minnesota. She wants her daughter to experience all the winter activities she'd missed out on. Divorced from a controlling man with a controlling mother, Willow is determined to remain independent, and teach her daughter to be the same. But moving from a Texas winter to a Minnesota one is more challenging than she expected, and she has to ask handsome handyman Chase Granzer for help more often than she'd like. Chase is more than happy to help her adapt, and she discovers finding love doesn't mean sacrificing her independence.
