Douglas Tanner is the author of six books, including his novel Beyond the Void Darkly, a Christian time travel love story, released on July 1, 2016. His other books include A Truly Successful Life: Ten Principles for a Life of Meaning and Purpose, published in 2008; Alec Kerley and the Terror of Bigfoot (2013); Alec Kerley and the Wrath of the Vampire (2013); Alec Kerley and the Roar of the Dinosaur (2014); and Alec Kerley and the Haunted Christmas (2016). Doug has been writing since fifth grade when he began sharing his stories with friends. His first story was about a monster attack on Halloween night. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, son, two daughters, a small Schnoodle named Snuffleupagus (Snuffy for short), and a yappy little poodle named Zoey. Doug loves studying the Bible, spending time with family, and snorkeling in the ocean.
