Douglas Tanner is the author of six books, including his novel Beyond the Void Darkly, a Christian time travel love story, released on July 1, 2016. His other books include A Truly Successful Life: Ten Principles for a Life of Meaning and Purpose, published in 2008; Alec Kerley and the Terror of Bigfoot (2013); Alec Kerley and the Wrath of the Vampire (2013); Alec Kerley and the Roar of the Dinosaur (2014); and Alec Kerley and the Haunted Christmas (2016). The next novel in the Alec Kerley series, Alec Kerley and the Revenge of the Werewolf, is scheduled to be published in 2018.
Doug has been writing since fifth grade when he began sharing his stories with friends. His first story was about a monster attack on Halloween night. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, son, two daughters, a small Schnoodle named Snuffleupagus (Snuffy for short), and a yappy little poodle named Zoey. Doug loves studying the Bible, spending time with family, and snorkeling in the ocean.
