When I wrote this book I originally intended to pen a strictly suspense novel about a bank heist, but after listening to a story or two about young people taking advantage of the old, I thought about my grandfather (whom this book is dedicated to), and decided to add a few twists.ย
Saul, an elderly widow, gets to seek not only justice inย Betrayal Only Comes in Green, but he also falls in love with a little girl, something surprising since the man never liked even his own son when he was a child. ย A miserable, forgotten old man softens and becomes somewhat of a knight in shining armor. My favorite part of this book is the bank heist scene. I've never written anything like it before, and I'm pretty proud of it. ย My editor had some fun with it too. ย I have to say that the ending to this book is one of my best. ย It has a major plot twist that I've never read in any other novel, and I always wanted to do it. ย One of the investigators in the book has a painful past, and miraculously, something that he thought he would never experience happens and changes his life forever. ย
