Before he became the Master and emissary of the Unseelie Court, Cecil Morris strove to make a name for himself in a bustling Victorian-Era London. Recently widowed, Felix has now remarried the young and mysterious Madam Hazel, an event that summons his eldest daughter, Lucy, to London. Lucy is plagued by nightmares of a terrifying horned figure, and if she ever hopes to understand her dark visions, she must confide in Cecil—a man she feels as much contempt for as she does attraction. To the surprise of everyone, the stern Lucy soon becomes governess to Vera, Cecil's ward and unusual child with a magical musical talent.
But when a vicious animal attack leaves leads to Cecil, he must clear his name before his secret magic and murderous past is revealed.
Beasts of London is the first novel in a Winter Fae's Blight prequel series and was originally published on Kindle Vella. It can be read as a prequel or as a standalone series.

K.C. Lannon graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, where she primarily studied short stories, but always aspired to write YA novels. Although she grew up moving all over the U.S., she currently resides in South Carolina. When she realized she probably would never find a fantasy adventure in the real world (though she’s still looking), K.C. Lannon decided to do the next best thing: write her own.
When she is not co-writing the Winter’s Blight book series, she tutors English, walks dogs, and dabbles art. She enjoys cooking vegetarian meals and playing tabletop RPGs.
