Bead it Yourself! Learn how to create a cute bead-embroidered Toy Poodle pin. Work with felt layers using the backstitch & stop stitch techniques. Please note: This is not a kit, nor is it a bead-by-bead pattern. It is a photographic tutorial which will explain the step-by-step process which I used to create this piece. Learn how to make this beaded dog pin for yourself or for a friend who loves Poodles. Make one in every color of the rainbow:)

You will need Japanese size 15/0 seed beads in 2 different colors, 11/o Japanese Delicas, 8/o Czech seed beads, 1- 3x4mm drop bead, felt, Ultrasuede, beading needles, Nymo thread, one pin back, glue, and a bit of patience to complete this piece:)

Sketch which you can print out and use as a template.

 Diana Grygo, aka. The Lone Beader, is a self-taught bead embroidery artist currently working in Boston, MA. She loves to create extremely dimensional beaded paintings by stitching glass seed beads to felt. Her beadwork is inspired by dogs, classic cars, city scenes, and pop culture. Diana's work has been published in both Beadwork and Bead & Button Magazines, the Bead International 2008 book, Australia's Creative Beading Magazine, Russia's Handmade Magazine, and most recently, a book called Great Dogs-Amazing Artists, Canine Art Today. The Lone Beader is also a juried member of the Cambridge Art Association in Cambridge, MA. Beadwork, beading kits, and patterns are available for sale on Etsy.
