Bawdy Double

A plot that could have produced a great novel. Sadly this is not it. Even discounting the hit or miss editing, such a cheap subterfuge of using the tragedy of Ukraine hinders rather than helps the story. Forgettable!

I enjoyed the linguistics of the book, it was intriguing to find an author who is not frightened of using flamboyant literature! The only issue I had was the use of his characters names, they were too familiar and I found it to be difficult to "follow/ pick back up!" as I read multiple books at a time... The story is, a page turner. but for the reader... and our point of view... I believe the author overcomplicated the linguistics and compromised the story on doing so... Yes! We know you are smart! Yet I believe this would have been a better seller if your paragraphs complimented the phrase you were describing!! it's almost as if you're too eager to please your English teacher! Albeit, the book has potential! and could even be a Netflix poser... but that is just my opinion...
