And it's not just any ordinary man but it's the Irish Devil himself! When men come for her, she has no choice but to go with them. Declan leaves her speechless. His very presence commands respect and radiates power. Plus, he's drop dead gorgeous. What Declan needs from her isn't what she thinks. It's her time, knowledge and skill he needs, there's a thief in his organization and he needs an outsider to ferret them out. After meeting her, he proposes a deal but there's a catch. She must move into his home and pretend to be a love interest. Only when she's done can she leave. She's fed up, why do all the men in her life want to use her? Do his books, find the thief, erase her brother's debt interest, then she can leave. Fine, no matter how attractive he is, she'll keep it ALL business. Not if Declan can help it, the beautiful woman stirs more than his blood. He can tell that she's been through a lot in her life and she's never had a chance to "bloom" into her womanhood. Well, he plans not only to nurture the garden but to glean from it fully. He knows that if he lets her leave that he'll never survive it. He thinks up a plan and prays that he can make her fall in love with him before it's over. But is love enough or will the violence of his world touch her, pull her away? This dirty talking devil is HAWT, dominant and smooth as silk! Best line? "We are each other's destiny, and our story only ends when one or both of us are gone". He may not like not being out of control but he loves spoiling her and isn't afraid to show her how much he cares for her. And she pushes right back and tests him but she does love a good. . punishment. I do like a bad boy whose not a bad man and Declan fits the bill. Yes I recommend this one for your library,

Miranda and Declan were so so cute together!! Like really made for each other.. loved the fact that she was a working woman and very good at it.. the way they fell in love ..it was so believable .. the smwxxxx was so so good.. like excellent.. hotness !!! Also liked that the books had no mis-unders-tanding trope.. or any 3rd act bre-ak up.. and Banshee!!! I wanted her back!!! Like I was waiting for Miranda to surprise Dec by bringing her back!! The new kitty was cute.. but still.. and Killian was adorbs!!!! The secondary characters were superb as well.. Aoife, Com, Ryan, Liam, Clare as well!! Hope to read their books as well!! Had a great time reading it.. go read it!! Enjoy!! This was my first book by this author..and it won't be the last!!!
