5 #spanking stars Sexy, sinful, satisfying and just plain desirable… and that’s just the story. Emmett Smith will melt your heart and sizzle your ovaries in this book. He’s ‘the’ perfect book boyfriend. He’s a man who prefers one night stands because he believes he can’t do relationships, but he’s so dang wrong. From the moment he gets stuck in an elevator with Jenna Porter, Emmett in intrigues, entranced and just totally captivated by her. She’s a strong, sassy woman who likes nougat, and know what she wants. When Emmett discovers why she was in his building, he doesn’t even think twice before offering up his services. No need for a clinical situation when he can deliver personally in the ‘old fashioned way’. Jenna’s idea of old fashioned was hilarious and Emmett’s face and response when she handed him a plastic container for his serving of #pumpanddump made me snort so hard with laughter, I had tears streaming down my face. This was a laugh-out-loud but sweetly romantic story with great characters. No OW/OM or angsty trials and tribulations. Only one bump in the road and it was solved beautifully. A fantastic, swoon-worthy tale for an evening curled up with hot chocolate or wine, thoroughly recommend it to everyone.

From now on, everything time I’m in an elevator, I’m going to remember this story! Kendall Ryan delivers a lustful, erotic, and emotional page-tuner with Baby Daddy. No strings….just sex. Just sex….to make a baby. Seriously, there’s no point in describing what this book is about, because the synopsis hits the story right on the head. Emma wants a baby, and Emmett steps up to the plate and nails her, er…I mean, IT, right out of the park. But when an unexpected connection and strong emotions come into play, neither one of them are ready to say goodbye. Never a dull moment, Baby Daddy starts off with a bang, and the storyline keeps you intrigued until the very end. The unique relationship that Emmett and Jenna find themselves in is not an uncommon trope. But with the magnificent writing abilities of the author, and the ever-imaginative dialogue, the story quickly turns into one that will make readers fall head-over-heels! Emmett and Jenna have undeniable chemistry; this is discovered from the get-go. But what we’re given is a more in-depth tale of taking this unconventional relationship and exploring the underlying possibilities of passion, devotion, and love. A love story that perfectly blends seductive and steamy desires with affectionate and wistful romance, Baby Daddy is an expressive and refreshing book, that’s sure to leave a smile on your face! 5 Stars!

Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan is a standalone romance told in dual POV. The story unfolds from an elevator incident (two complete strangers stuck together for two hours) to a full on love story complete with baby. Let me back up, Jenna wants a baby. She is on her way to the sperm clinic to begin the process and gets stuck on an elevator with a very fine specimen of the male species, Emmett. He surmises she must be going to the spank bank and an embarrassing conversation ensues followed by an eager offer from Emmett to be the sperm donor instead of an anonymous spanker from the clinic. Entranced by his delicious smell, charming demeanor and entertaining banter she seriously considers the offer. The sex and hilarity just continues from here. With a few angsty moments where neither one is able to communicate their feelings, meanwhile you, the reader, are whisper-yelling at your kindle for them to get their acts together and we end at a happily ever after. What did I miss? He is CEO of a large bookstore company that is trying to buy out a local small bookstore owned by Jenna. Neither one of them knows what the other one does specifically for work. hey both catch feelings early and try to play it off, sometimes convincingly, other times to so much. The characters bounce their wit and frustration off each other and are well-developed and the pace was well-done. I haven't read a book yet by Kendall Ryan that I haven't loved. Enjoy!
