About this ebook

So I may be in the Last Single Man Standing competition with my cousins, but five minutes around Kinsey was all it took to take myself out. Who cares about bragging rights when you’ve just found the woman you’re going to marry? Sure, she may work for my biggest competitor. Sure, she’s not dating right now. Sure, she’s my sister’s best friend and I’ve been sworn off her. But somehow she agrees to go on six fake dates to help me save face in this competition.

What does the guy who never uses his words have to say to convince the girl of his dreams that they’re perfect for each other?

Neanderthal is the second book in the Last Man Standing series and I did enjoy the quirky characters. It took me a little while to get into the story but I really did like Kinsey and her charm and her mind. She was honestly trying to do whats right and help her grandma. Griff, oh my goodness me, man of not many words at all. There is quite a bit of family drama and I couldn’t stand Griff’s Dad. Some of the banter in this book was fantastic though and I did enjoy the storyline somewhat. The steamy moments were off the charts hot! It was an ok read for me. I am looking forward to the last book in the series!

4 Star Review Neanderthal (Last Man Standing #2) by Avery Flynn This is the second book in the Last Man Standing series and was just as entertaining as the first book. From the instant that Griff set eyes on Kinsey he knew that he had found the woman that he was meant to spend the rest of his life with. He may be in a competition with his cousins but it doesn't matter, he knows he has found the one. If only he can convince her. The only complication is that Kinsey is his sisters best friend and she is not interested in dating. However when Kinsey agrees to help Griff out by going on some fake dates with Griff, neither of them realize the chain of events that have been set in motion. I loved both Griff and Kinsey, separately but especially together. Neanderthal was a fun story with witty banter and characters whose story you cannot help but be drawn to. Griff is a man of few words but when he speaks, people tend to listen.

This might be my favorite Last Man Standing book so far. Griff and Kinsley took my heart. It's funny, sweet, and don't even get me started on the steam. Fire! I loved that Griff knew from the beginning he already wanted Kinsley and it just took some help to get her on board. I loved his grunting and how he tried to do more for her. Loved loved loved!
