About the author

Ashutosh Pandey is currently working as faculty in the Department of Biotechnology at AKS University, India. His research expertise includes microbial applications, environmental biotechnology, fermentation technology, and renewable energy. He earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), focusing on algae cultivation for biofuel production and wastewater bioremediation. Additionally, he holds an M.Tech. in Chemical Technology from Harcourt Butler Technological University (HBTU). With over six years of professional experience, Dr. Pandey has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is actively involved in advancing sustainable technologies, holding memberships in scientific organizations like BRSI and IWA, and serving on the editorial boards of reputed journals.

Prof. Surendra Singh Suthar is the Dean of the School of Environment and Natural Resources at Doon University, where he has served since 2010. He holds a Ph.D. from Jai Narain Vyas University and specializes in solid waste management, bioremediation, ecotoxicology, composting, and waste-to-energy. With 19 years of experience, Dr. Suthar's research has gained global recognition, amassing over 6000 citations and an h-index of 47. Listed among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University, he ranks 2nd in India and 220th worldwide in Environmental Science. He has authored 123 journal articles, 15 book chapters, and 7 reviews, significantly contributing to environmental science research and academia.

Kassian T. T. Amesho is a Senior Research Fellow at UMR Agropolymer Engineering and Emerging Technologies, INRAE, France, specializing in environmental sustainability, resource utilization, and the circular economy. His research focuses on green energy, circular economy, and environmental engineering, with notable contributions to biodiesel production using waste cooking oil and recycled oyster shells as catalysts. He also works on biomass transformation into biofuels and chemicals. Widely cited for his impactful work, Amesho is dedicated to addressing global sustainability challenges. His strong analytical skills and passion for innovation continue to inspire future researchers, making him a key figure in advancing sustainable development and resource management
