Needless to say my love of basketball was the inspiration behind it; knowing that basketball is a sport that one falls in love with at an early age, I wanted to do something I felt hadn't been done. In this book, I introduce a young character growing up privileged, in a home gilded with secrets. Not just someone who loves basketball, but someone who was cultivated in the game and their personal voyage through life off the court.
