About the author

Aoife Morrin, PhD, is Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry at the School of Chemical Sciences at Dublin City University and Director of the DCU National Centre for Sensor Research. She is also Funded Investigator of the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics in Ireland.

Dermot Diamond, PhD, is Professor of Sensor Science and Materials Chemistry at Dublin City University and Field Chief Editor of the Journal “Frontiers in Sensors”. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Member of the Royal Irish Academy.
