Als Beispiel dieser Vielfalt gewährt die im Jahr 1580 entstandene Quelle "Agenda oder Hanndt Buechlin" im Codex 107 der Stiftsbibliothek Kremsmünster einen einzigartigen Blick in das konkrete liturgische Leben einer Landpfarrei. Die im historischen Kontext erschlossene Handschrift erweist sich als originelle und pastoral ausgerichtete Interpretation der Diözesantradition Passaus, die der Autor Sebastian Krabler mit zeitgenössischen Texten etwa aus Salzburg ergänzte – und dabei auch den Rückgriff auf reformatorische Anliegen und liturgische Bücher nicht scheute.
