Annette Chowthi-Williams is an experienced academic, senior NHS manager and practitioner, and is currently an academic at the University of Roehampton in London. Dr Chowthi-Williams is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an External Examiner. She has a particular interest in healthcare innovation and improvement, public health and leadership in community and primary care. Her interest in healthcare innovation and improvement has led to the development of possibly the first health care change management model in nursing and nurse education, and recently published a book on the subject, Successful Change Management in Health Care: Being Emotionally and Cognitively Ready. She is passionate about student’s wellbeing and on engaging and involving then in their teaching and learning.
