Andreas Paul Der Autor wurde 1961 geboren und war schon als Kind und Jugendlicher von Büchern begeistert. Deshalb erlernte er den Beruf des Schriftsetzers, in dem er bei der Herstellung von Büchern mitwirken konnte. Das Lesen und sein Beruf führten ihn zum Schreiben dieser und anderer Geschichten.
