Ancient Echoes

Having first read Highland Guardian and becoming fascinated with Scottish folklore and the concept of time travel, I found myself disappointed with this book. It seemed disjointed and repetitive, the story would have been much shorter without telling the same things over and over. Perhaps the editing was not as strict as it should have been. It was good to see this error was not repeated in Highland Guardian as this was a thoroughly enjoyable sequel.

I totally agree with hmmmm...below. Interesting ideas but I found myself thinking this was written by a someone who used spell check to edit. Paragraphs with duplicated ideas, characters names mixed up, incorrectly used words, poor punctuation sufficient to change the meaning of sentences. All pet hates of mine.

Bought the book because it was on sale and the few reviews here were 5 stars but I think those reviews were fake. Grammar and spelling mistakes throughout. Story is missing pieces, even getting the names wrong. The book is dodgy but easy to read. Some of the ideas in here are worth the read though.
