About this ebook

In Tudor London, Moire Noble's clandestine gift of premonition entwines her fate with the charismatic Thomas Astley, as they battle suspicion, desire, and danger to rewrite their destinies

In the bustling streets of Tudor London, Moire Noble appears to be an ordinary daughter of a modest Scottish family. Yet, her reality is peppered with secrets far more enchanting. Gifted with the mystic power to glimpse the future, Moire treads carefully to protect her extraordinary ability, lest she meet the tragic fate that befell her mother—accused of witchcraft and condemned to the flames.

Years have veiled Moire's unique talent, but as her twin sister Lili's engagement festivities beckon, the threads of her existence unravel. Bound to leave the sanctuary of her home and kin, Moire is thrust into a world teeming with unfamiliar faces and uncharted desires. A vision of impending doom at Lili's betrothal soirée compels Moire to take action, altering the course of fate.

Thomas Astley is a man whose allure is as captivating as it is perilous. Drawn to Moire's spirited demeanor and quick wit, Thomas becomes an unexpected ally—unaware that his pursuit of her mysteries jeopardizes not only her future but also her very heart.

As their lives intertwine amidst the grandeur and treachery of Tudor courtly affairs, Moire must navigate her precarious secrets while guarding against a love that threatens to consume them both. In this era of opulence and intrigue, will Moire's premonitions guide them toward salvation or plunge them into an inescapable abyss? Only time will tell, as passion and danger entwine in a tale of romance that defies all odds.

Likable Hero…. But Very Short Story -- I have been reading this author's historical romances for a while now, but I didn't know she had written some medieval ones as well. In this book, the heroine's family all have paranormal abilities, like premonitions, reading auras, and sensing emotion. Of course, in medieval Europe, having those abilities could brand you as a witch... with dire consequences. They go from country to country, hoping to escape a witch's pyre and lead as normal of lives as they can. This is, too, a romance, and I really liked the hero. He's a good, decent guy who doesn't quite understand how the heroine saved him. While the reader knows she can trust him... will she figure that out herself and open herself to love? While I enjoyed the story and characters, the author engaged in more telling than showing in some parts. This is often a fault of novellas, and this one only clocks in at 72 Amazon pages. The book has been out for a few years, so the amount of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage errors surprised me. Not a small number of errors, either, even though the book is a novella and has been out for a while. Because the book is so short, I didn't find it to be a good value at its current $2.99 price. -- I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

One Enchanting Kiss is part of the Enduring Legacy series and is a short but enjoyable read. This story has likable characters, fear, superstition, premonitions, danger, and romance. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

This novella set in the early 1600s was no ordinary love story. It tells of a family that some have intuitive abilities that others considered dangerous due to the witch trials happening at that time, life was fearful and intence. A scary event happened, so they moved to England. Thankfully, they meet new friends, and their lives are happy. Eventually, a stranger becomes enchanted with the heroine, and after a lot of persuasion, she believes she can trust him. I enjoyed how not only is a beautiful life found, but two and everyone's lives become so happy and the ending is wonderful. I highly recommend reading!
