This is a short read. This is Elianna and Garrett's story. Her father has passed not she is being treated like a servant. When they meet, he wants to know her secrets. Can he figure it out? Lady Elianna has been a prisoner in her own home since her father's death. Threatened by her distant cousin, her father's heir, she has no where else to go, but stay and work as a servant. A walk in Hyde Park as a chaperone with her cousin's daughter, she meets Garrett Tumbly, Viscount Sinclair. Known for rescuing someone in need, he knows that something isn't right in Elianna's life. Lots of twists and turns. Eliana parents due leaving her orphaned. New heir comes in and forces for to work for them.... Story draws you in and pulls your emotions. Quick easy clean read. Good plot and good character development. Felt almost like real people not too over the top. Worth the read. Forced servitude, loss of family, few friends. Hopeless, ball, deception. Etc... I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
