About this ebook

Red Lights, Dark Roads is a raw and gripping true story that takes you into the heart of trauma, survival, and unshakable resilience. After surviving multiple life-threatening encounters—being shot in the face by police, targeted in road rage shootings, and enduring betrayal and silence from loved ones—Allen De Keyser shares his journey through darkness, PTSD, and pain.

But this is more than just a memoir. It’s a call to be seen. To be heard. To be believed.

With every red light comes a choice: freeze in fear or fight for your life. Through powerful storytelling, emotional honesty, and spiritual grounding, Allen reveals what it means to keep driving through the dark—when healing seems impossible and hope feels far away.

For anyone who’s ever been let down by the system, lost in the shadows of trauma, or desperate to find peace after chaos—Red Lights, Dark Roads will speak straight to your soul.

About the author

Allen De Keyser is a survivor, storyteller, and voice for the unseen. After being shot in the face by police officers without cause, surviving violent road rage attacks, and enduring deep personal betrayals, Allen chose not to let darkness define him. Instead, he turned his pain into purpose.

He now uses his journey to speak truth, inspire healing, and advocate for mental health, PTSD awareness, and justice for those who’ve been silenced or forgotten. With his service dog Harley by his side, Allen delivers for Amazon Flex and continues creating books that shine a light on trauma, love, and the strength it takes to keep going.

Allen is also the founder of DeKeyser Publishing and the heart behind The Heartpack series—true stories of love, loyalty, and survival with his dogs and wife Marqueta. His mission is simple: turn the scars into stories that save someone else’s life.
