About this ebook

Confessions of a Prairie Bitch is Alison Arngrim’s comic memoir of growing up as one of television’s most memorable characters—the devious Nellie Oleson on the hit television show Little House on the Prairie. With behind-the-scenes stories from the set, as well as tales from her bohemian upbringing in West Hollywood and her headline-making advocacy work on behalf of HIV awareness and abused children, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch is a must for fans of everything Little House: the classic television series and its many stars like Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert; Gilbert’s bestselling memoir Prairie Tale... and, of course, the beloved series of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder that started it all.

This is one of the best bios I've ever read. The way this woman came through everything and then used what she'd learned playing a nasty character to fight for the good of others is inspirational. And it's written in such a conversational style that you feel like she's sitting across the table from you telling you her story. I laughed, cried, and enjoyed every minute. I read the entire book in one day. Highly recommended.

One of the best books I have read in a long time. I laughed, cried, cheered. It confirms that you don't have to be anyone but yourself to make a difference in your own life and those around you. No excuses... you cant grab onto something better if you never choose to let go of the bad. Well done!

I absolutely loved this book. It was funny and straight to the point if you ever wanted to know what happened behind the scenes in little house on the prarie, as well as the person behind the horrible character Nellie oelson then you've come to the right place. I could not put this book down. Allison Arngrim you've just gained a new fan.
