About the author

Dr. Alfred Boediman is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving transformational change across various industries, including technology, finance, and sustainability. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business - Asia Campus. Dr. Boediman holds degrees from the Universitas Indonesia, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Chicago.


Dr. Alfred Boediman is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving transformational change across various industries, including technology, finance, and sustainability. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business - Asia Campus. Dr. Boediman holds degrees from the Universitas Indonesia, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Chicago.

His post-doctoral research examines the neuro-statistical approach in derivatives financial exchange combined with multi-layered market sentiment. His interests and training lie in technology research related to cognitive socio-behavioral science and machine learning.

In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, he is an angel investor in several tech startups and serves as an advisor for the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago (Asia chapter). Outside of work, he enjoys motorbike riding, archery, and cooking.
