It is not a book for beginners, in that it does not give you enough vocabulary practice or explain the conjugating of verbs. I am having a difficult time doing the lessons and I am a teacher. Thank God there is an answer key in the back of the book. Directions are poorly written.

Alessandra Visconti (Chicago, IL) is a lecturer of Italian at Northwestern University. She has taught at Sarah Lawrence College and the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received an MA in Applied Linguistics.
