This book consists of eleven chapters that covers all aspects of mechatronics systems from basics to advanced. This book is an edited compilation of original research and applications backed with experimental, numerical and theoretical data on mechatronics systems, suitably categorized into sections of closely related topics, contributed by researchers, academics, scientists, industrialists and professionals from the field on various aspects of mechatronics. Ajay Kumar is currently serving as a Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, JECRC University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He received his Ph.D. in the field of Advanced Manufacturing from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, India His areas of research include Incremental Sheet Forming, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Materials, Additive Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Waste Management, and Optimization Techniques.

Parveen Kumar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Head in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rawal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridabad, Haryana, India. His areas of research include Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, Materials; Die less Forming, Design of Automotive systems, Additive Manufacturing, CAD/CAM and Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and Internet of Things in manufacturing, multi objective optimization techniques.

Aydin Azizi holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Certified as an official instructor for the Siemens Mechatronic Certification Program (SMSCP), he currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Oxford Brookes University. His current research focuses on investigating and developing novel techniques to model, control and optimize complex systems. Dr. Azizi’s areas of expertise include Control & Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Simulation Techniques.
